We provide business and policy analysis, program management, and healthcare system transformation guidance to public and private sector clients responding to new legislative requirements in healthcare.
MaryAnne Sterling is the CEO of Sterling Health IT Consulting. She is also the Co-founder of Connected Health Resources -- connecting patients, family caregivers, providers and communities with new approaches to communication and partnership in healthcare. She is a renowned speaker and educator on family caregivers and their health information technology needs.
MaryAnne has been a thought leader in health information technology and health policy for over a decade. She serves as Ambassador for both the Alzheimer’s Association and the Patient Centered Outcomes Research Institute (PCORI). She also serves on the ONC Health IT Policy Committee’s Consumer Workgroup, is the Consumer Ombudsman for the National Association for Trusted Exchange (NATE), and is a former Executive in Residence for the Healthcare Information Management and Systems Society (HIMSS) Foundation, Institute for e-Health Policy.
MaryAnne has volunteered for the Alzheimer’s Association since 1997 as a patient advocate on Capitol Hill. In this role, she currently serves as Ambassador to Senator Mark Warner's office for the implementation of the National Alzheimer's Project Act (NAPA). Her personal story has been featured in Kiplinger, New York Times, USA Today, and the Wall Street Journal.
She received her Bachelor’s Degree in Biology and Biotechnology from the University of Nebraska at Omaha.
